All India Pre Medical Test (PMT) is one of the most coveted entrance examinations conducted by the prestigious CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) each year for selection of competent candidates to take admission into Medical and Dental courses in renowned educational establishments in India. In all India level 15% seats are reserved for successful candidates of this prestigious entrance examination at various Medical and Dental colleges. Every year thousands of applicants take part in this entrance examination.

The exact notification for the All India PMT 2013 is yet to be released by the CBSE. Prior to that for all those aspirants its vital to know about the intricate details about the PMT Application Form 2013, the eligibility criteria as well as the application procedure, syllabus, etc.

Essential Eligibility Criteria with respect to Age:

The candidates aspiring for this examination must have attained 17 years of age and must not have crossed 25 years of age as on 31st of December of the same year in which he/she will take admission to the 1st year of the course desired.

Vital Criteria for Nationality:
All candidate who is a citizen of India is eligible to apply for this test, except who belongs to the state of Andhra Pradesh and J&K. For the students from Andhra Pradesh and J&K, students have to submit an affidavit claiming their ineligibility to appear for the examinations conducted by these states.

Important criteria for academics:
•The students who have passed their intermediate (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/ Bio-technology and any other elective subject as deemed in the study pattern, are eligible to apply.
•The students who have completed their intermediate and are now awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
•The students who have already completed their intermediate and now continuing in the 1st year of Degree courses also can apply for this entrance examination
•The applicant must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category and 40% for PWD) in their intermediate level

Application Fees:
•For General/ OBC candidates: INR 1000 (Rupees One Thousand Only)
•For all others (SC/ST/PH): INR 550 (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty Only)

How to Apply:

•The interested candidate can apply through ONLINE mode only through the website of AIPMT.
•There is a provision for online/ offline payment of application fees. However, applications with late fees can only be submitted ONLINE
•Candidates are requested to practice utmost care while filling in the spaces provided in the online application form.
•The candidates are advised to complete their application filling in a single go or within the scheduled time of availability
•The candidates should keep their fee payment receipt and the submitted application form for sending to CBSE for final confirmation of application form submission.

Tentative Date Schedule for AIPMT Application Procedure:
•Starting date for acceptance of Online PMT Application Form 2013: 3rd Week of December 2012
•Final date for submission of Online Application: Second/ Third Week of February 2013
•Date for downloading the PMT Admit Card: 1st Week of March 2013
•Date for Preliminary Entrance Examination: 1st Week of April 2013
•Date for Main Examination: 2nd Week of May 2013
•AIPMT results: June 2013
•Starting of Allotment of Seats in various colleges: From 2nd week of June 2013 onwards
