Eligibility: Must have qualified Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE
Age Limit: General – 30 years, SC – 35 years, ST – 35 years, OBC – 33 years & PH – 40 years
Educational Qualification:
1). Senior Secondary (10+2) or intermediate or its equivalent from a recognised Board / University / Institute
2). Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level
3). Must have passed English as a subject at Secondary or Senior Secondary level.
Two years diploma / Certificate course in Elementary Teacher Education (ETE) / Junior Basic Training (JBT) or equivalent or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) from a recognized institution
Application Fee: No fee is required from the candidate.

South & North MCD Teacher (Primary) Selection Process: The Criteria for selection will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the academic and professional qualification. The criteria for deriving merit list will be as under:
Secondary Examination – 25 % weightage/marks
Senior Secondary Examination – 45% weightage/marks
Teacher Training – 30% weightage/marks
Total Weightage/Marks: 100
The list of short listed candidates will be uploaded on MCD Website www.mcdonline.gov.in. The documents of short listed candidates will be verified in the allotted Centers. The date wise schedule along with venue for verification of documents and final list of selected candidates will be displayed on www.mcdonline.gov.in only. Candidate will not be informed individually or by any other mode of communication.
