Salary for Assistant Engineer (Civil & Electrical):
Pay-scale: scale of Rs.17240- 840(14) –29000– 910(4) –32640 (under revision). With this pay-scale, total emoluments is approximately Rs. 31,680/- per month in metros.
Salary for Assistant Executive Engineer (Structural):
Pay-scale: scale of Rs.23120-840(7) –29000– 910(6) –34460 (under revision). With this pay-scale, total emoluments is approximately Rs. 42,219/- per month in metros.
Eligibility for LIC Assistant Engineer:
Eligibility for Assistant Engineer (Civil & Electrical):
Age: Min.21 years, Max: 30 years as on 01.12.2012
Minimum First Class or 60% marks in Civil Engineering for AE (Civil) & in Electrical Engineering for AE (Electrical ).
Eligibility for Assistant Executive Engineer (Structural):
Age: Min.25 years, Max: 35 years as on 01.12.2012
Minimum First Class or 60% marks in ME/M Tech in Structures.
Experience requirement for Assistant Engineer (Civil):
Minimum 2 years in construction activities of Housing Projects, Multi-storied/ High rise office & Residential Buildings & Townships, Maintenance of Buildings including preparing tender documents/invitation of tender etc.
Experience requirement for Assistant Engineer (Electrical):
Minimum 2 years in Electrical Engineering with regards to Electrical Installation Works in Multi-storied/ High-rise office and Residential buildings/Townships including preparing tender documents and invitation of tenders etc. Experience in Air-conditioning, High Tension Installations, Fire Fighting Systems, Maintenance of Electrical Installations, UPS, Data cabling and Awareness of Energy Audit desirable.
Experience requirement for Assistant Executive Engineer (Structural):
Minimum two years of relevant experience in Structural Design of Multi-storied High-rise Buildings and Allied Structures, preferably Computer Based Structural Design, Design of Pile Foundations etc.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in working in a Government/ Semi Government, reputed organization or with reputed architects.
