APPSC conducted written exam on 6th January 2013 for the recruitment of 919 Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges (ENGINEERING AND NON- ENGINEERING) in AP Technical Education Service (General Recruitment: Notification No. 19/2012).
Selection Process: Written Test (500 Marks) + Interview (50 Marks)
Exam Centres: Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Warangal, Tirupati & Vijayawada
Exam Dates: 06/01/2013 (F.N & A.N), Garment Technology – 07/01/2013 (F.N Only)

PART-A: Written (Objective Type) Examination – Total 500 Marks
Paper1: General Studies & Mental ability- 150 Marks- 150 Questions
Paper2: Concerned Subject (Engineering/ Non-Engineering) -300 Marks-150 Questions
PART-B: ORAL TEST (Interview) – 50 Marks
