VITEEE 2014 Online Application, Application Form

VIT University Vellore released the VITEEE 2014 Online Application and VITEEE 2013 Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus is provided at our website check it now.

VIT University, Vellore invites online applications for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE - 2014) for admission to the B.Tech courses, commencing in the session 2014-15.

Qualifying Examination:
Candidates appearing for the VITEEE-2014 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2014, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:

The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi). Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/ Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:
Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2014 should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/ Intermediate). The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the following categories:

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST
  • Fill in the proforma as given in Annexure III and have it attested by a competent authority (The list of authorities empowered for the same is given in Annexure III).
  • Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
  • Fill in the CERTIFICATE TO PROVE NATIVITY (proforma given in Annexure III).

GATE 2014 Admit Card Download

GATE 2013 Admit Card download starts from 18th December 2013. GATE Admit Card 2013 will only downloadable from Zonal GATE Websites. We are providing Download GATE 2013 Admit Card from our website and at also official site http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/. 

The Admit Card can only be downloaded from the zonal GATE websites from 18th December 2013. Admit Cards will NOT be sent by post/email. Bring a print-out of the downloaded Admit Card to the Test Center along with the original and valid photo identification (NO photocopy / scanned copy/NOT expired). Please note that you have to give details of this ID proof while filling the online application. 

Candidates will NOT be permitted to take the test, if this original and valid photo identification is not presented. It may be noted that you would have specified one of the following IDs during the online application process: Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar UID, College ID, Employee Identification Card, or a Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address.

GATE 2014 Important Dates have been announced by IIT Kharagpur. The Important Dates of GATE 2014 list out the dates that are crucial like the application deadlines, fee payment dates, admit card download, result declaration etc. Candidates must know the Important Dates for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2014 to be able to apply on time and appear for the exam. Given below are the Important Dates for GATE 2014 for the benefit of the students

GATE 2014 Exam starts from 01st February 2014 to 02nd March 2014.

  • Forenoon (FN) Session : 09:00 AM to 12:00 noon
  • Afternoon (AN) Session : 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

GATE 2014 Admit Card will be available for download at GOAPS login from 11:00 p.m. on 18th December 2013
