State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) invites Applications from the eligible candidates for limited recruitment to the 6071 Police Constables in various categories under Rc. Pay Scale: Rs.8440 – 24950 (For Post Code 26: Rs.7960 – 23650)
Age Limit: For Post Code 26: 18- 30 Years as on 1st July 2012
For all other Posts: 18- 22 Years as on 1st July 2012 (for on duty Home Guard* – 18 to 30 Years)
Educational Qualification: Intermediate or its equivalent; (For SC/SC Candidates – SSC or its equivalent & candidate should have studied Inter OR appeared in both Inter 1st year & 2nd year examinations.)

Agency areas: Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Mahaboobnagar, Adilabad, Warangal and Khammam districts.
AP Police Constable Selection Process:
A) Preliminary Selection Test: Men: run 5 kms within 25 mins & Women: run 2.5 kms within 16 minutes.
B) Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 100 metres run, Long jump, Shot put + (Only for Men – High jump & 800 metres run)
C) Written Examination
Application fee: Rs.25/- in cash should be remitted at the time of submission of each application form. Demand Drafts, Cheques, Indian Postal Order etc. will not be accepted. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying this fee.
How to Apply: Candidates must apply in the Application Form devised by the Board for the examination, which can be downloaded from website www.apstatepolice.org in the recruitment folder. Eligible candidates should submit the duly filled in application form along with the copies of the necessary certificates at any of the places (District Police Office) mentioned in the notification on any working day from 21-01-2013 to 20-02-2013 in between 10.00 hours and 14.00 hours.
