West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has decided to announced WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2017 , West Bengal (WB) Board 10th Result 2017 announced. 

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education declared the West Bengal Madhyamik results on Thursday. Candidates can check their results on the official site of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).

This year more than 10 lacs of students (include regular & private) had appeared in West Bengal Madhyamik Pariksha (Class 10) exam on march. Now all the appeared students were  eagerly waited for see their result. WBBSE Madhyamik Pariksha result 2017 to be declare on board’s official website www.wbbse.org. Students can find and download their result using by admit card number or roll number.

2. Now click on Madhyamik Pariksha (10th) Result text link
3. After open the new window, system  has required you admit card number or hall ticket / roll number for generate your result
4. Correctly enter their roll number and press submit button
5. After submission , you can get their result online.

The Board of Secondary Education was established in 1951 under State Legislature Act i.e. West Bengal Secondary Education Act of 1950. The Board was inaugurated on 3rd May 1951. The main operations of the board i.e. to control and develop secondary education of the State and also to conduct the School Final Examination were handled by Calcutta University. Board was later renamed as West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1964, under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Act 1963. In 1951, WBBSE has taken over 1270 high schools from Calcutta University which were increased to 2312 by the end of 1963 and more than 8000 by the end of 1975 including some schools outside the territorial jurisdiction of the State. Currently 10238 numbers of schools are under board authority. With the increase in the number of recognized schools, the examinees appearing in the Secondary Examination have increased. All sorts of examination and other administrative works such as management of schools are being done in the four Regional offices i.e. Kolkata, Burdwan, Midnapore and North Bengal from 1974.
