POWER GRID, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India and a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, is looking for Bright, Committed and Energetic engineers for the recruitment of EXECUTIVE TRAINEE in Electrical discipline (Advt. No. 5/2012).
Eligible candidates will have to appear for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE 2013. Candidates have to register themselves online at POWERGRID website www.powergridindia.com with details of their GATE -2013 Application No., GATE-2013 Registration Number.

POWER GRID ET (Executive Trainee) Recruitment through GATE 2013
Post: Executive Trainee (Discipline – Electrical)
Pay scale: Rs.24900-50500
Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on 31.12.2012
Qualification: Full Time AMIE/ B.E. / B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering discipline with Minimum 65% of marks or Equivalent CGPA *
Application Fee: There will not be any separate application fee for applying to POWER GRID.
Selection Process: The selection process will include the marks obtained (Out of 100) by the eligible candidates in the EE paper of GATE 2013, followed by Group Discussion and personal interview. Group Discussion and Personal Interview are likely to be conducted in the month of April/May 2013.
Weightage of Marks in POWERGRID ET Recruitment:
Marks in the EE paper of GATE 2013 – 85% Marks
Group Discussion – 3% Marks
Personal Interview – 12% Marks
Qualifying Marks in GATE 2013: The qualifying marks for GATE Examination shall be as per the criteria adopted by the GATE-2013 examination conducting authority for different categories.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates will have to appear for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE – 2013. From 7th January 2013 onwards, Candidates have to register themselves online at POWER GRID website with details of their GATE -2013 Application No., GATE-2013 Registration Number and other required information, which will be made available at CAREER section of www.powergridindia.com.
