LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) of India has just yesterday issued recruitment notification 2012-2013 for a huge vacancy of 12529 DSE (Direct Sales Executive) for its eight zonal marketing units. What is a LIC DSE job:
Direct Sales Executives (DSE) in LIC are contractual jobs, appointed for a period of 3 years. At the end of the 3 year term, the contract may be extended further, depending on your performance. The job involves marketing LIC polices – selling new polices as well as servicing existing ones and hence needs extensive travelling.
Some people confuse LIC DSE jobs with LIC Agents job – however the two are completely different, the only similarity is the contractual nature of both the jobs and that both markets LIC policies. The eligibility/qualification requirement for LIC agents is far less than LIC DSE jobs. The minimum educational qualification required for LIC agents is only Class-XII while for LIC DSE jobs you need to be a graduate.

LIC does not offers Direct Sales Executives any fixed monthly salary but is dependent on how much target you have been able to achieve. The salary can be higher or lower, depending upon the business performance.
Eligibility Requirement for LIC DSE jobs:
Minimum eligibility required for LIC Direct Sales Executives jobs are as follows:
1.0 Age eligibility: (as on 01.12.2012)
Minimum 21 years, Maximum 35 years. Relaxations exists for reserved categories.
2.0 Educational qualification eligibility:
